False Perceptions and Market Corrections
Perception isn’t always accurate. Sometimes the community collectively misjudges an item’s potential. For instance:
A new, unique drop is labeled “trash” by Path of exile currency early players. It sells cheaply.
A week later, someone discovers a broken synergy with it.
Demand surges, and the price skyrockets tenfold.
Or the opposite occurs:
A unique feature is overhyped due to a misunderstanding or a bug.
