Expedition Map Level and Logbook Level:
The level of the Expedition Logbook depends on the Area Level of the map where it drops. For example:
If you use a Tier 10 Waystone, the Logbook will have a Level 74 rating.
To aim for a Level 79 Logbook (optimal for most encounters), you'll need a Tier 15 Waystone.
Expedition maps with Corrupted or POE currency for sale Irradiated modifiers will automatically increase the area level by +1 or +2, so you can use Tier 13 or Tier 14 Waystones for the same result.
